SMMCTA, SMMPTA, and our community partners present STRONGER TOGETHER: A Response to Fear, Anxiety, and Trauma in our Community.
This resource fair and speaker series is intended for SMMUSD families and teachers, and will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30pm at the JAMS Performing Arts Center (2425 16th Street; enter from Pearl).
Gather with SMMUSD’s caring community for compassionate support, helpful resources, and expert guidance.
Meet service providers from local agencies.
Hear from experts in their fields.
Translation and children’s corner offered.
Pizza will be provided.

Student Rights, Protections, And Safe Haven Schools
Mental Health Resources For Students And Families
How To Talk To Your Children About Traumatic Events And Situations That Cause Anxiety Or Fear
Opportunities to Give Back:
Make gratitude cards for first responders.
Consider bringing a Visa/MC, Amazon, Target, or Grocery Store Gift Card for SMMUSD families impacted by the wildfires.
