STEP 1 REGISTER TO VOTE or CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION
Deadline to register is October 24th. Anyone who is not registered to vote by October 24th will not be mailed a Vote by Mail ballot for the election. If registering after the 24th, please see our Same Day Voter Registration page. Same Day Voter Registration is available at county election offices.
Check your registration status (including updating your address, if necessary).
STEP 2 MAKE A PLAN

There are CA Propositions , a local Measure, and candidates on the ballot that have direct impact on children, youth, and families. Check those out below.

STEP 3 VOTE & RETURN YOUR BALLOT
Cast your vote in-person or return your vote-by-mail ballot to a Vote Center or Drop Box.
In-person voting begins October 29th through Election Day, November 8th. October 29 – November 7th polls are open 10 AM to 7 PM and 7 AM to 8 PM on November 8, 2022, Election Day. Early Voting, 29 days before election, in-person and vote-by-mail ballot drop off at 12400 Imperial Highway, Room 3201 Norwalk, CA 90650.
Every registered voter is mailed a Vote by Mail ballot on or before October 10th. SUBSCRIBE TO WHERE’S MY BALLOT. They can be returned as soon as they are received. Early vote-by-mail ballot voting period is from October 11 through November 8, 2022. Drop Boxes close at 8pm on Election Day.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR BALLOT
Before you drop off your Vote by Mail ballot make sure:
- Place your voted ballot card(s) inside the Official Return Envelope
- Securely seal the Official Return Envelope
- Sign and date the back of the Official Return Envelope
- Put your ballot in the mail (no postage is required) or return to a Vote Center or Drop Box listed above
- Track your ballot with Vote by Mail Status Tool
