Now till March 15th - Apply for African American Youth Leadership Program

A division of the Research and Policy Institute of California, is seeking applicants for its 2006 African-American Youth Leadership Conference from July 30-August 5, 2006 at California State University, Sacramento. California high school students currently in the 10th and 11th grades are invited to apply. Housing, meals, program materials and transportation are provided at no cost to participants. Now till June 2nd - LegiSchool Photo Contest

LegiSchool is currently accepting entries for its annual photo contest, California Through My Eyes. High school students are encouraged to submit photos of images representing what California means to them.

All entries must be postmarked by June 2, 2006.
